How To Use

Shake gently. When using it for the very first time, prime the diffuser initially by applying it away from the face until the fine mist forms. Hold the bottle six to eight inches away from the face and spritz it directly onto the skin. If layering, wait 15-20 seconds before reshaking and reapplying.

To prime: apply to clean skin before makeup.

To set: apply after makeup to keep it in place all day.

To refresh: reapply anytime to refresh your skin.

To prep: apply at night before any skin treatment.

I was inspired to come up with the Smooth Diffusion Skincare & Primer Mist because I was seeking efficiency without compromise in my skincare routine, and I also wanted to prolong my daily makeup application. There are two things I do every day – One: I never leave the house without makeup on and Two: I never go to sleep without applying my nighttime skincare steps. However, there were just too many steps, products, and tools I was using both in the morning and at night. I wanted to create a product that can seamlessly apply all my skincare without the hassle of having sticky fingers from applying skincare products. I also wanted it to be an integral step in my makeup routine that could enhance the longevity of my look. Lastly, I wanted it to be quick, easy, enjoyable, and relaxing to apply the product since I would apply this daily!

How would you describe your skin, and what are the most important steps in your skincare routine?
I would describe my skin as extremely dry and it also gets oily in the t-zone. The most important steps in my skin care routine are hyaluronic acid serums and moisturizers packed with peptides. I also try to add steps for anti-aging benefits with products that include ingredients like lactic acid and retinol. Additionally, I never leave the house without sun protection no matter what the weather is because that is so important for skin health so SPF is a must!

What inspired you to create this new type of packaging?
I was inspired to come up with this product when I was out for a walk thinking about how to make my daily routines more efficient. I wanted to create a product that can seamlessly apply skincare without the hassle of multiple products or having sticky fingers from applying skincare products. The misting effect of my sunscreens and hair sprays were so quick and made me think about using the same packaging for my skincare and as a base step for my makeup routine. Mists are quick and easy to use: just spray and go! I envisioned a mist with micro droplets packed with antioxidants, vitamins and hydrating properties. When applied, it will have a beautiful blurring effect to smooth out skin tone, texture and prolong makeup application.

What is the main thing your product improves on skincare mists/primers that exist already?
No skincare mist out on the market couples skincare benefits with makeup primer ingredients in a micro-misting application for a no-rub, quick application. Additionally, this mist will be in a package that enables you to control the coverage because its spray pattern won’t be large like most sprays that exist today. That way you can mist it comfortably onto your face with no messy application.

Who do you think this product is best for?
This product is best for people with busy lifestyles that want to quickly apply skincare but also prolong their makeup look. It is also best for people that don’t like wearing makeup and prefer a beautiful no-makeup look with all the skin benefits of moisturizers and serums. I hope this product will become a bathroom countertop staple that serves as a friendly reminder to always apply an easy skincare boosting one-step routine to nourish skin with vitamins and minerals. It will make you feel good knowing you are taking care of your skin even with just one step!

At first the can wasn’t spraying evenly for me but the trick is to make sure you shake the bottle to get the formula all mixed and then spritz your face 🙌✨ I have really good makeup days when I use this most as a primer and setting spray. I literally use it daily!! It’s become part of my makeup routine. It has an amazing blurring effect and my makeup lasts all day while I’m at work.
